Daniel and Mia had the best marriage ever. They couldn't get enough of each other despite working together in the same field, they were the perfect example of 'couple goals' until Mia's ex, Nolan, resurfaced.
Nolan had his own mental baggage and could use some counseling, and he would receive it from none other than his ex, Mia. Daniel hated the idea of Mia taking him on as a client, but Mia was hell-bent on helping him, seeing how low he had sunk. She knew his mind better than anyone else, and that assertion further infuriated Daniel and brought trouble to their paradise.
Mia had her first session with Nolan and she took the unconventional approach to help him open up to her about his emotions. In the pursuit of Nolan, the police soon discovered that he had stalked Mia for years and had written several unsent letters addressed to her. He was obsessed with her.
The police requested Mia's help in catching him, but things got out of hand when Nolan began sneaking into Mia's home and leaving her love letters everywhere. He knew things about her he shouldn't. It got so bad, Daniel and Mia had to move out of their house to avoid being stalked.
Nolan remained persistent until Daniel couldn't take it anymore. He had an obligation to protect Mia and their marriage, and he would d that no matter how high the stakes were.
